12:00 pm	[Masterist] FFVII/Naruto: Correspondence Arc And since I've written a fic, multiple drabbles and fanart, I thought that this might need its own list. Yes, yes, I'm OC. :P A specialized crossover 'verse between Final Fantasy VII and Naruto inspired and bunnied by shinobi_soldier. Premise is that Zack is Uchiha, Cloud is Namikaze and they both go traipsing off to Midgar to become SOLDIERs together. Or something. Haha...? Issues on Spoilers: Naruto - What I know of Naruto is very, very limited. Currently, I'm up to the Wave Country mission and only that. *embarrassed laughter* But I know vague information from the later episodes and Shippuden. I'll try to remedy that a bit more by the time I get to the CArc:Prodigal Arc. Final Fantasy VII - I'm rather biased more towards FFVII on basis that I've followed the FFVII Compilation more than I have Naruto. As I've played the original game, CC, halfway through DoC and having watched AC and LO, the CArc:Shin-Ra Arc would have a lot of spoilers, especially from events that happened in Crisis Core. The concept is a high school AU, where Zack and Cloud meet, have lovely, cheesy romance that, by request, does not start during elementary and spans up to adulthood. ... What, you're waiting for more information? That's it, pretty much. I mean, really. The whole drive that backs this is "ouuu, it would be nice to have two childhood friends go through the painful transition stage called 'omfgholyshit I think I'm falling for my best friend'." My editor-of-six-years says I'm going through a nostalgia stage. I'm inclined to agree. So Jason gave me the installer for SAI and made me try it out on his laptop and oh gods, I've never been so happy and I haven't drawn digitally so much since ... my YGO phase. Which was what...? Two, three years ago? But... but... why give it to me when exams start next week?! *cries* I'm going to faiiiiil. (Why do I only draw Riku when I'm trying out new stuff...? He's just so... hot.) But... srsly. SAI is wonderful. *reaches out and hugs monitor* It makes even my crappy lineart and sub-par coloring look pretty. Gyuh. Okay. Finally going to sleep now. Shit, I'm so screwed. 12:15 pm	Post-LO con reaction So Saturday morning started with me completely unwilling to get up for History class (7:30-9). Thankfully, it was only a make-up class, and there was another for Monday. LO officially started at 1, but prep time started at 12. BUT! With my luck, I had to go to UP by 9 since I wouldn't have a car. And not having a car with my backpack and my suitcase? Total no-no. Heavy-ass suitcase is like, heavy. So I sat in the venue at around 9 up to 11, playing videogames (thank you, handheld consoles!). At eleven, I got up to go to the shopping center with this girl who wanted to buy tickets to LO in advance. I left the suitcase with the guard but I had to carry my backpack (uwah, so heavy) with me. So we chatted a bit on the way, and since I found out that both Meru and the-guy-who-supplies-our-badges were late, sat with her in an internet cafe and played more videogames. That got boring for a while, so I watched her read One Piece, Bleach and wasn't really interested until she got to TRC. WTF, CLAMP? I'm not going into TRC until you finish the whole thing. I don't want to keep hanging, like, with X/1999. So I got the pins, and when I went back to the cafe, the girl was gone (wah, so rude) and I left for the venue again. It was 11:30 when I get back, still early, but Rochelle and some early-participants were there too. So I went up, went into total shock and utter horror mode when I realized that Sey was there, went down and talked to Hibi on the phone because hey, Sey has an attachment and there's only me and they're pretty bitter and violent and I don't want anything to do with it. BUT! 8D; She calmed me down and I helped up setting up. Since I was one of the few people who was there early, I picked a reasonably-placed booth, just at one of the walkways and not at the edges (learned better, really). Thankfully, that made it less swamped especially later, when there was the video-showing. (I'm uber grateful, really, because getting squished by people who weren't interested in buying wares and was just blocking the way to watch an event it just plain >o!) But the venue was really, really tiny, though. D: It was so cramped, even just in the indie area. I don't really want to think about the areas that weren't inside the table-circles. 4:39 am	Doujinshi Work Progress My back aches, I feel exhausted and I feel like sleeping a lot. When I get home from school, it's all I can do to keep awake and perky and even eat and that's really not a good sign. 5:03 pm	Productivity levels for this week I feel kinda ashamed that even though I had like, 4 days of break (YAY, TYPHOON!), I barely got any drawing done. I blame the blackout, busy sched and FFCC:RoF. I just started yesterday, and I died of cute. It's a whole lot easier to play than WEWY too. Wasn't able to watch Avenue Q yesterday either because of the flood. And if anyone says "You should've gone anyway, I did!" at me, I will get huffy, angry and upset at. ^_^ Rawr. Things I drew/finished: (according to date done) 1) Very ghei Cloud-colors For Patts: I recommend not looking at it at all. (Old lineart) May induce epilepsy in young children and animals. 2) Ion commission Ahahahaha 3) Pearl-inks *hums* fantasia0829, this is the younger sister of the Irra and Kauren from my last art post. ^_^ Her name's Pearl, and she's the eldest of the girls. *hums* I was gonna do Zanj, the last boy of the first seven children after I drew her, but... well... This guy butted in: 4) Kiryuu Yoshiya (Joshua) Because when I was doing the basic shapes, Bea suddenly went "HE LOOKS LIKE JOSHUA." And my brain cracked. Huzzah. 5) Cloud Strife (FF7 style)-inks Comparing this one to the inks of 1, which was made... a few months ago, March-April-ish, *points up* this one is smoother, and better. 8D whee. Look, I actually improved! Anyway... since there was no power yesterday, I sat down, pulled out my new poster colors and decided to paint my furniture set. ^_^ It's cute. See? (Gotta pick up green paint for the T-Rex you can see in the upper left.) Sadly, Zoe ate my sink. ;o; So my bathroom is incomplete. *hums* I should really, really get more of these things. This Friday, I don't have classes at all, so that means I can... well... draw stuff. Lots of stuff, since I don't have much of a homework load. Problem is, I just have NSTP on Saturday morning. 4:18 pm	My workspace and stuff I've been cleaning my part of the in-house office (technically, it's now mine, since my parents don't use it) and clearing out my table so I can use the space on it. Three days later, and I'm still not done. 8D; Nearly done though. I just need more pencil-holders and shelves before I can put away the small stuff. And because people were curious... The dentist decided not to remove my tooth because they're considering to save it and remove the impacted wisdom tooth instead. Yay, because that means I won't bleed out tonight and I can watch a movie. Boo, because that means I'll have surgery again and I'll bleed out during schooltime. Huzzah! *grins, hobbles off to do inking practice* Oh, oh, oh, and other than I'm obliged to do this as an employee now, but... *amused* Please buy Love is in the Bag. Because it's shoujo.
